• Position: Microbiologist / PCR Analyst

• Location: West (Near Gui Circle MRT)

• Working hours: 5 days, Monday to Friday (8.30am to 6.00pm)

• Salary (commensurate on experience) : Up to $4500 + AWS + Variable Bonus+ Medical + Dental + Transport allowance

• Duration: Permanent

• Industry: Environment Laboratory

Responsibilities

• Conduct microbiological testing on water, food, and environmental samples, and perform PCR (qPCR/ddPCR) analysis for viral DNA/RNA.

• Prepare media, reagents, and maintain laboratory equipment and inventory.

• Accurately document results, maintain quality records, and ensure compliance with biosafety and ISO/IEC 17025 standards.

• Support method development, validation, equipment calibration, and laboratory quality control programs.

• Troubleshoot technical issues, analyze data for anomalies, and contribute to process improvement.

Requirement

• Degree in Microbiology, Life Science, Biochemistry, or a related field.

• 1-3 years of hands‑on PCR (qPCR/ddPCR) experience; viral RNA/DNA preferred.

• Experience in a microbiological testing laboratory is an advantage.

• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates in view of businesscommunications
