Job summary

A leading laboratory services provider in Singapore is looking for a qualified individual to perform laboratory testing and ensure the accuracy of results. Key responsibilities include sample evaluation, instrument operation, and maintaining quality control protocols. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in bio-medical or biological sciences and ideally have at least 2 years of experience in a Hematology lab. Strong independent and team-working abilities are essential, along with the capability to multi-task. Weekend and public holiday duties are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in clinical laboratory settings in a Hematology lab preferred.
• Ability to comply with regulatory guidelines and SOPs at all times.

Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of samples with guidelines and prepare specimens for analysis.

• Evaluate the test results accurately in accordance with procedures.

Job Description :

• Determine the acceptability of samples with guidelines and prepare specimens for analysis.
• Validate the accuracy of laboratory data.
• Evaluate the test results accurately in accordance with procedures.
• Operate instruments to perform testing in accordance with established written procedures.
• Perform experiments, as scheduled, for evaluation of new reagents. Maintain quality control of laboratory testing to ensure accurate and timely lab reporting. Document corrective and preventative actions with good documentation practices.
• Assist in the servicing and maintenance of laboratory equipment according to manufacturer and SOP requirements.
• Comply with regulatory guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in a bio‑medical or biological sciences from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical laboratory settings in a Hematology lab is preferred; training will be provided.
• Able to work independently as well as a team.
• Able to multi-task.
• Sunday and public holiday duties are required.
