Medical Laboratory Technologist - Clinical Immunology Lab (1 yr renewable contract)

The Clinical Immunology Laboratory (CIL) of Tan Tock Seng Hospital provides diagnostic tests that are vital for the management of patients with rheumatologic, allergic or immunologic diseases. We are a group of professionals who provide excellent patient care through education and research, supported by a caring work environment.

We are seeking a suitable Junior Medical Technologist candidate as we expand to better our service.

The candidate should be responsible to:

  • Perform testing of patient samples by ELISA, indirect-IFT, molecular, particle agglutination, immunoblot, turbidimetry methods, either manually or use of complex instruments.
  • Calibrate and maintain instrument, perform quality control and troubleshooting.
  • Work independently and with the team to perform full range of duties, from specimen processing, data analysis to reporting, to generate medically meaningful and accurate data in aid of diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
  • Provide good customer service to internal and external clients and providers.

The candidate should possess:

  • Diploma in Biotechnology or Medical Laboratory Sciences, or Bachelor of Science in Biological, Chemical, Physical or Clinical Laboratory Science
  • Exposure to flow cytometer is good but not compulsory.
