Job description

Responsibilities:

• Reviewed project contracts to ensure compliance across design, construction, and commissioning phases
• Assessed mechanical design documents, commissioning plans, and method statements; provided comments within contractual turnaround times
• Liaised with Owner’s Engineer and EPC consortium on contractual, technical, and quality matters
• Evaluated legal and regulatory requirements for applicability in mechanical design and execution
• Reviewed and approved ITPs, FQPs, and MQPs for mechanical works, ensuring quality adherence during execution
• Ensured HSE compliance in alignment with local regulatory standards during all project phases
• Developed and implemented improved methods and procedures to enhance contractor execution efficiency
• Identified value engineering opportunities and coordinated with EPC for implementation and cost savings
• Conducted cost-benefit analyses to assess feasibility and impact of project improvements
• Coordinated with other engineering disciplines to finalize designs and construction interfaces
• Prepared and submitted periodic work plans and progress reports to management
• Measured mechanical work progress, verified, and certified monthly invoices from EPC consortium
• Monitored site performance and contractor activities; provided input on development of owner’s project procedures
• Oversaw safe and compliant execution of contractor field activities
• Managed interface coordination between mechanical, electrical, and civil works to ensure smooth project execution
