Job description

JOB SCOPE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and review mechanical design plans, specifications, construction documents for the project.
• To assist the Project Manager/Construction Manager on the overall planning of the execution of the project from the point of award to the final handling over to client.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to mechanical design team, ensuring that the mechanical systame are designed and installed according to project specifications, standards and codes.
• Collaborate with architects structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that mechanical systems are integrated correctly into building design.
• Review drawings, submittals, and RFI's related to mechanical systems and equipment an provide timely feedback to design team.
• Conduct site visits and inspection to ensure that mechanical systems and equipment are installed correctly and according to the design plans and specifications.
• Ensure quality, sound and efficient engineering design services are being reflected in project deliverables.
• Identify and meet effectively the requirements and expectations of clients.
• Manage the commissioning and start-up of mechanical systems and equipment, include testing and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support to the construction team, including addressing technical issues, resolving conflicts, and managing changes orders related to mechanical systems.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, codes, and standards related to mechanical systems and equipments.
