Job description

Seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to plan, execute, manage maintenance and projects undertaken by the terminal, from conception to commissioning in a safe, cost effective and timely manner with due regards to all codes of construction, maintenance, safe working practices and financial accountability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for managing and supervision of projects and maintenance work.
• Prepare and implement approved modifications and upgrading of systems, processes, and equipment.
• Ensure installation, test and commissioning activities are performed in accordance with the company’s requirement and quality standards.
• Oversee contractual requirements between company and contractors are met and to resolve any non-conformance installation services.
• Follow up with preventive maintenance schedule and supervision of maintenance work or services of contractors.
• Prepare tender documents and attend to tender submission, verification, and evaluation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering, with 5 years of experience in oil & gas, petrochemical or marine terminal industry.
• Hands-on experience in maintenance of rotating machinery and static equipment.
• Hands-on experience with cargo pumps, diesel engines/generator.
• Strong technical experience in breakdown troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge in marine jetty systems and fuel transfer operations
• Knowledge of hazardous area classification (ATEX/IECEx), industrial standards such as API, ASME etc.
