Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers (local & overseas), including managing price negotiation, contracts, and supplier performance monitoring.
- Prepare purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure accurate procurement records.
- Monitor and forecast raw material inventory to balance production needs with cost control, avoiding overstocking.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy for all information input into the system
- Plan and schedule production within plant capacity, based on customer bookings and material availability.
- Handle supplier disputes, quality issues, and non-conformance.
- Generate procurement and inventory reports, to ensure all inventory targets are achieved
- Monitor and analyse production and cost trends, and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- At least 2 years’ procurement experience, preferably in FMCG / F&B manufacturing.
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and cost control skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Navision/inventory systems.
- Material planning and understanding of supply chain concept will be a plus point
- Good communication and problem-solving skills, adaptable to a fast-paced FMCG environment.
- Independent, resourceful, detail-oriented, and able to work cross-functionally with production and operations teams.
- Meticulous, organized, tactful and initiative.
- Self-motivated, self-discipline, independent, patient and willingness to learn.
