Job description:

  • Responsible for the provision of aircraft spares for aircraft induction
  • Coordinate with customers, production, and planning staff to understand the material requirements
  • Responsible for liaising with Production, Customer, Stock Control, Purchasing, Receiving, Shipping and Freight forwarders to monitor and prioritize/expedite all outstanding critical/urgent aircraft materials required for the project
  • Liaise with production/customer to for resolution of long lead‑time material demands
  • Ensure appropriate approval from customers / management prior to spares procurement and/or check customer's ERP system for stock availability
  • Attend pre‑induction meeting and identify spares that potentially impact the aircraft re‑delivery schedule / work stoppage/ disruption to production schedules
  • Responsible for preparing material status/inventory and KPI reports for customer and production
  • Perform review and analysis of frequently used materials for provisioning.
  • Responsible for recommending MRP levels and optimizing inventory levels
  • Ad hoc material and operational improvement tasks as and when assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel
  • Basic knowledge of Data Analytics
  • Knowledge and familiarity with SAP is an advantage
  • Possess strong interpersonal skill and a positive attitude to handle challenging customers and resolve tense situations
  • Able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency
