Castomize is a Singaporean MedTech startup on a mission to make healthcare more effective, accessible, and less invasive by creating novel medical devices made with our domain knowledge in advanced manufacturing technologies. Our first device is a series of novel 4D printed orthopaedic casts which improve the healing experience for both patients and clinicians. As we scale locally and internationally, we are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to be a core member of our Marketing and Business Development team.

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Marketing & Business Development executive to spearhead brand growth, drive market expansion, and develop strategic partnerships. This role requires both creative and analytical capabilities, and a strong ability to execute across multiple functions in a fast-paced startup environment. The role involves driving new business development initiatives, generating leads, building and maintaining client relationships, and managing key accounts. The candidate will develop and execute marketing strategies, identify market opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee marketing strategy, branding, and business development initiatives.
  • Maintain and create simple website pages and updates.
  • Manage and develop social media content, calendars, and campaigns.
  • Coordinate and conduct video and photo shoots for marketing purposes.
  • Plan overseas expansion planning and market penetration strategies.
  • Develop business content, pitch decks, and marketing materials.
  • Apply design experience to support content creation and brand consistency.
  • Track and analyse marketing performance metrics and business analytics.
  • Utilise CRM tools for customer engagement and pipeline management.
  • Contribute to organisational development and strategic planning.
  • Produce exhibition collateral and serve as a company representative at industry events and stakeholder interactions when necessary.
  • Manage and mentor team members within the marketing/business team.
  • Take on ad-hoc responsibilities as required.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Bring initiative, creativity, and business acumen to drive company growth.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional Communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey ideas and engage with stakeholders effectively.
  • Adaptability and a proactive approach to working in a dynamic startup environment.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related fiel
  • Familiarity with working in a startup environment.
  • Familiarity with med-tech or healthcare industries is a plus.
  • Relevant experience in marketing, business development, or related fields.
  • Proficient in editing software, Microsoft Office Suite, analytics tools, and social media management platforms.
  • Experience in design, content creation, and marketing analytics.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
