Job description

Job Summary

• Coordinate with Managers and Superintendents to ensure timely supply of technical spare parts, vessel repair jobs, and annual service requirements.
• Manage purchasing activities, including raising purchase orders, arranging logistics, and ensuring smooth delivery of spares to vessels.
• Handle enquiries and requisitions from suppliers, obtain quotations, and prepare relevant shipping and billing documents such as proforma invoices, packing lists, and delivery orders.
• Liaise with vessels to clarify requisition details and ensure accuracy of supply.
• Work closely with agents and vendors to coordinate shipment of spare parts or repair services at suitable ports.
• Support documentation, invoice verification, and cost approval processes before submission to accounts.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Managers or Superintendents.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience, preferably in the shipping or marine repair industry.
• Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
