Job summary

A leading manufacturing company located in West - Boon Lay, Singapore is seeking a candidate for an important role in bag packaging. This position involves accurate packaging, quality inspection, and ensuring a defect-free production process. You will assist in production preparation and maintain organization in packaging operations. Candidates should have a keen eye for detail; previous packaging experience is a plus. The position operates 5.5 days a week with competitive compensation of $2200 - $2600.

Location: West - Boon Lay

Working Days: 5.5 days

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4.45pm (lunch hour 45mins) ; Saturday 8am - 12pm.

Salary: $2200 - $2600

Department: Manufacturing (Vacuum Bag)

Reports to: Bag Packaging Supervisor

Role Overview

Responsible for accurate bag packaging, quality inspection, material control, equipment care, and maintaining orderly, defect‑free production processes.

Job Description
  • Adhere strictly to the approved first‑article sample validated by the Quality Inspector throughout the production process.
  • Assist in production preparation, perform inspection (for both quality and quantity), and help other operators with self‑checks to improve production quality.
  • Handle all products with care to prevent defects such as stains, scratches, dents, or damage during packaging and transfer.
  • Keep all packaging materials, semi‑finished goods, finished products, and tools neatly organized according to the required layout.
  • Use packaging materials reasonably, prevent waste or loss, control packaging consumption, save energy, and reduce production costs.
  • Report production issues promptly and rework defective products immediately; ensure no defective products enter the finished goods area.
  • Check, maintain, and take care of production tools and equipment daily; use all tools properly.
  • Protect company property and avoid intentional damage to machines, tools, products, or packaging.
  • Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements
  • Able to understand and follow packaging quality requirements as explained by the Quality Inspector and Team Leader prior to commencing work.
  • The ability to distinguish colours where necessary.
  • Previous experience in packaging is an advantage.
