Job description
About Us

We are a established food processing factory dedicated to producing high-quality food products for the Singapore market. In a fast-paced and essential industry, we pride ourselves on teamwork, resilience, and delivering excellence from our production line to the customer's table.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a hands-on, dedicated, and pragmatic Production Manager to lead our factory floor operations. This is a critical role for our business, requiring a leader who is not afraid of hard work and long hours.

We Are Looking For You If
  • You understand that food manufacturing is a demanding industry that operates beyond a typical 9-to-5 schedule.
  • You are a problem-solver who thrives under pressure and can think on your feet.
  • You lead from the front and are willing to roll up your sleeves alongside your team.
  • You value stability, tangible results, and the pride that comes from keeping a crucial operation running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day production activities to ensure targets for quality, output, and efficiency are met.
  • Manage, train, and motivate a team of production operators and supervisors.
  • Enforce strict adherence to Food Safety (SFA) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards at all times.
  • Troubleshoot production issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Manage raw material usage and inventory control to minimize waste.
  • Ensure all production documentation and reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Uphold a culture of safety, ensuring all health and safety protocols are strictly followed.
The Realities of the Role

We believe in transparency. This is not a standard office job and comes with unique challenges:

  • Work Schedule: 6-day work week. You must be available to work on weekends as required by the production schedule.
  • Public Holidays: You will be required to work on some Public Holidays and eves of major holidays. A day off in lieu (OL) will be provided for each day worked.
  • Environment: This is a factory-based role involving time on your feet, in a temperature-controlled environment, and requires strong physical stamina.
  • Pressure: You will be responsible for meeting tight deadlines and managing unforeseen production challenges.
