Job Summary

Manual Tester responsible for preparing, executing, and documenting test cases to ensure software quality, identify bugs, and support User Acceptance Testing; Collaborates with developers and business analysts to optimize testing processes.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field;
• Must have 1 year of software testing experience;
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail);
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Desired Skill-set

• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Tosca, Selenium);
• Ability to prepare test data using SQL scripts;
• Knowledge of Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).

Responsibilities

• Prepare test cases/test artefacts taking guidance from the functional specifications or user story;
• Prepare Requirement Tracability Matrix;
• Prepare test data using tools such as SQL scripts;
• Execute both manual and automated test scripts;
• Analyse test results to predict user behaviour, identify bugs and suggest solutions to minimise problems;
• Document and produce daily test report;
• Coordinate and liaise with Business Analysts and Developers;
• Assist business users in performing User Acceptance Test;
• Execute automation test cases.
