Manager Workplace Operations & Business Support Southeast Asia

Boeing Global Enterprise Services (BGES) has an exciting opportunity for a Manager Workplace Operations & Business Support Southeast Asia (SEA). This role is based in Singapore HQ Office on a full-time permanent basis.

Boeing Global Enterprise Services (BGES) is a highly diversified team of 200 employees internationally providing safe, secure, sustainable and compliant workplace operations, facilities management and business support services to 100 non-USA locations in 40 countries. Our BGES team works in close collaboration and partnership with all the enterprise functions, business units, employees and key stakeholders to deliver a global capability.

In this role you will lead, coach and develop our diverse and talented BGES team in Southeast Asia; oversee and improve our workplace & facilities operations and management to enhance workplace experience; provide safe, secure, sustainable and compliant workplaces in the region; oversee and improve BGES’s internal and delegated services with a sharp focus on first‑time quality and continuous improvement; proactively initiate and enhance operational excellence at all levels of service delivery; develop regional OPEX and CAPEX budget and be accountable to deliver cost‑effective BGES operations in the region; proactively initiate and implement cost‑controlling measures; be a trusted and valued partner to all the businesses, employees and key stakeholders while building BGES’s value proposition and reputation.

Position Responsibilities included but not limited to:
  • Manage, maintain and provide safe, secure, sustainable and best‑in‑class workplace in the region by establishing and enforcing best workplace standards, procedures and compliance with in‑country regulations.

  • Accountable for effective and efficient workplace operations in the region.

  • Accountable for providing timely, cost‑effective and value‑added BGES services delivery to all stakeholders and employees by the BGES team in the region.

  • Lead by example, instill and encourage a culture of First‑Time Quality and Operational Excellence in BGES team, including influencing functional partners.

  • Create, manage and enforce workplace policies, procedures and guidelines in line with the best global practices. Prioritize culture, safety, sustainability, workplace experience, wellness and compliance.

  • Lead and enhance operational excellence initiatives with a sharp focus on implementing continuous improvement, value engineering, automation, best practices and reducing manual efforts.

  • Lead and manage regional facilities projects in coordination with the Integrated project team.

  • Develop, manage and oversee BGES regional operational and capital budget with in‑depth analysis of variance analysis and action plans, and in‑depth analysis of cost allocation rates and optimization.

  • Implement cost savings and cost avoidance measures ensuring cost‑effective BGES operations.

  • Develop, manage, update and report on regional real estate strategy in collaboration with real estate and finance team.

  • Prepare and report on monthly regional BGES and functional performance assessment through scorecards, data and analysis.

  • Develop and manage strategic business partnerships and build trust with key stakeholders, business & executive leadership, employees and functional partners.

  • Lead, coach and develop BGES team in the SEA region (Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand) ensuring an encouraging, collaborative and inclusive working environment.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
  • 8 to 10 years of solid and extensive experience leading a diverse portfolio of workplaces and facilities regionally or globally.

  • 8 to 10 years of extensive and in‑depth experience leading, managing and improving workplace operations, facilities management, enhancing workplace experience and ensuring business compliance.

  • 5 to 7 years of leadership experience in leading, coaching and developing culturally diverse teams in multiple countries.

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in developing and managing OPEX & CAPEX budget for a division or a function.

  • Extensive and proven track record of business partnering stakeholders, managing business support in a complex reporting structure environment.

  • Extensive and thorough experience in implementing lean principles for continuous improvement.

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and outstanding presentation skills.

  • Advanced and demonstrated IT skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Power Apps, Power BI, SharePoint and Word.

  • Solid planning and priority management skills along with problem‑solving and a proven track record.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 4-8 years of specific work experience as required in the job description.
