What the role is

The Marketing Healthy Lifestyle (MHL) Department spearheads the strategic planning, development and implementation of marketing and media strategies of the Health Promotion Board’s (HPB) flagship campaigns in priority areas of healthy eating and physical activity, while promoting personalised holistic health through the Healthy 365 app – in line with the Board’s vision of building a nation of healthy people.

The successful candidate will be part of the team that develops and implements through‑line marketing strategies and campaigns to empower the general population and identified target audience segments with the knowledge and resources to adopt a healthy lifestyle.

What you will be working on

Responsibilities Specifically, the responsibilities of the successful candidate include:

  • Synthesising data and distilling consumer insights to create innovative, credible and insights-driven communications to influence and sustain adoption of good health behaviours;
  • Developing and implementing effective above-the-line, below-the-line and digital marketing and media strategies as part of integrated marketing campaigns;
  • Managing stakeholders to drive alignment and collaboration in the planning and implementation of go-to-market strategies including eco-systemic marketing, tactical promotions and market activations leading to the achievement of KPIs such as app downloads, programme sign‑ups, etc;
  • Monitoring, optimising and evaluating campaign performance based on agreed metrics, refining campaign messages, mechanics and execution to ensure that targets are met;
  • Delivering timely and customer‑centric responses to public queries/feedback based on HPB's social media guidelines using a Customer Experience Management platform;
  • Partnering appointed creative, media, research and other third‑party agencies for effective marketing results and performance;
  • Managing budgets, procurement, invoicing, forecasting, accruals and project timelines to ensure timely delivery and achieve value for money for campaign deliverables.
What we are looking for

Requirements The ideal candidate is an experienced and highly driven marketer possessing the following credentials:

  • Relevant qualification in Marketing or Communications;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing and executing integrated communications, marketing and branding in a B2C environment;
  • Ability to analyse complex data to distil insights and make strategic recommendations;
  • Proven track record in content, database and performance marketing, including marketing automation and omnichannel marketing;
  • Hands‑on experience in ensuring seamless and effective UX/UI for website design and mobile app development;
  • Excellent grasp of social media and digital analytics;
  • Ability to multi‑task and work independently and in a team to succeed in a fast‑paced matrix environment;
  • Strong project management and budget planning skills;
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills;
  • Creative flair and an eye for detail.
