Job description

You will be part of the Manpower Planning team, playing a key role in ensuring optimal workforce allocation and supporting the hospital’s strategic objectives. This position seeks a candidate with strong critical thinking skills for involvement in strategic planning, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement to build a future-ready workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manpower Review & Governance: Execute hospital manpower guidelines and directives, review manpower establishment requests, and engage Heads of Department to balance operational needs with strategic goals, fostering understanding and consensus on manpower decisions. Present clear and concise justifications to review panel for approval.
  • Strategic Workforce Planning: Collaborate with HR teams on manpower projections and planning to ensure a sustainable pipeline of talent for current and future hospital needs.
  • Establishment Management: Maintain accurate establishment data in HRIS for budgeting, hiring, and reporting purposes.
  • Job Redesign & Transformation: Drive initiatives to optimize manpower resources and prepare the workforce for future demands.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Extract and analyze manpower data, develop dashboards, submit reports to internal and external agencies, and conduct horizon scanning to review manpower trends.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Human Capital Management or related discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of HR experience, with at least 4 years in manpower planning and review. Candidates with more experience may be considered for a Senior Manager position.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills to foster collaboration and consensus among stakeholders.
  • Meticulous with a flair for numbers; proficient in Excel, Power Query, and/or Power BI.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in report preparation and data management.
  • Good understanding of department structure and position management.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors is advantageous.
