Job description
Overview
  • Lead and manage SCM Change Management / Transformation projects both in-country and regionally, to deliver the SCM Strategic Transport transformation project objectives within timelines.
  • Drive, and support in-country initiatives and projects focusing on transport optimization and with the alignment of Group Supply Chain Management Strategy
  • Change management / change agent for Transport program e.g. Route to Market, Transport Management System
  • Support markets to achieve cost saving and benefits from program implementation
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage end to end Supply Chain Digitalize Transformation project for both in-country and regionally ensuring on-time delivery and maintaining overall project ownership to assigned projects.
  • Facilitate project requirements, negotiate needs and expectations, and translate into user & functional outcomes.
  • Plan and develop project plans, tasks, risks, and associated communications documentation as part of the project management activities.
  • Leads collaborative project review meetings to highlight significant updates, assessing risks and risk mitigation plans.
  • Monitor, report and update overall Change Management progression; track resource utilization in ensuring projects meet objectives and timelines.
  • Consistently engage and communicate with business/stakeholders on requirements and progress.
  • Addresses issues and risks through risk mitigation and contingency planning and presents solutions and/or options to relevant key stakeholders, ensuring effective implementation of solutions/changes.
  • Deliver results for each project through partnership with cross-functional teams and by working directly with various stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with all key stakeholders, colleagues, and vendors/consultants.
  • Participate in cross functional projects as required
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Transport Management or related fields
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Change Management and Project Management ideally with formal training in/from PMI, Prince 2 or other professional project management body.
  • Experience working in MNC and highly matrixed organizations
  • Experience working in consumer goods or healthcare MNC’s or Supply Chain 3PL is a plus
  • In depth understanding with strong experience of Transport Management and Project Management especially in Supply Chain Transport projects
  • Strong project management capabilities (change management) – accountability for large projects, delivering through others, delivering on time
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage a high volume of projects simultaneously
  • Collaboration internally and externally
  • Strong networking and communication skills
  • Ability to influence and convince without authority
  • Familiar and comfortable with working within a decentralized organization with matrix structures and reporting lines
  • Agile & adaptable, It is expected that the role will evolve over time – flexibility to change and willingness to new idea
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Strong experience and capability in Fleet Management and including Network management.
  • Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems
  • Must be proficient in MS Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI, Microsoft Project, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
