Job summary

A leading financial institution in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional with over 8 years of documentation experience in the financial sector. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing financing documents, supporting post-approval processes, and acting as facility and security agent in financing activities. Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of documentation experience in a financial institution.
  • Prior exposure to real estate project financing and/or agency services preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

Job description
  • Review of draft / executed financing documents such as letters of offer / facility agreements & security / mortgage documents, validate draft financing and security documents against approvals, post acceptance documentation checks, preparation of instructions to lawyers / valuers / insurers and etc.
  • Perform the daily BAU operations by supporting Business Unit’s post approval documentation processes till redemption / full repayment.
  • Perform roles as the facility agent, security agent and/or account bank in syndicated financing. Activities including but not limited to active participation in negotiation of the legal documents, conditions precedent collation, conditions subsequent and covenant tracking, management of facility life cycle and information dissemination.
  • Liaise with Business Units and external parties such lawyers / valuers / insurers.
  • Perform checks to ensure legal and security documentation are completed, conditions precedent is fulfilled prior to activation of credit facilities, monitoring of conditions subsequent and ensure that the legal and security documents are being custodized.
  • In charge of preparing letters / reports, updating of registers and custodians of documents.
  • Manage day-to-day business transactions to ensure that the agreed turnaround time with the business is met
  • Ensures accuracy, efficiency and meets the agreed turnaround time with the Business Units while minimizing operational risks and losses.
  • Able to contribute to process improvements and participate in ad-hoc projects
Qualifications

- Candidates with minimum 8 years of documentation experience in a financial institution with prior exposure to real estate project financing and/or agency services preferred.

- Diploma/ Degree in any discipline

- Proficient with MS office applications

- Meticulous, organized and a team player
