The Bioinformatics Institute (BII) is a leading hub of innovation and research at the forefront of AI for biomedical data science, bioinformatics, computational biology, and data-driven life sciences. Expertise in BII includes AI in drug discovery, biomolecular modelling, AI for image analysis and diagnosis, clinical and omics data integration and analytics, etc., which greatly contribute towards the national R&D strategies. As a member of the BII Tech-Biz team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the institute growth trajectory and its collaborative ventures with industry, public sector, and academic partners.
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual with both scientific/technical literacy (in bioinformatics, computational biology, AI, or life sciences) and strong business development/partnership skills to join our team as a Manager/Senior Manager/Assistant Director. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Strategy and Tech-Biz to drive marketing and business development initiatives for the institute. You will be responsible for forging impactful partnerships, creating communication materials, and spearheading collaborations that significantly amplify the institute influence in the bioinformatics landscape. You are expected to have a good understanding of the science and research conducted at BII and be able to communicate this knowledge effectively to partners, ensuring alignment and fostering strong, mutually beneficial relationships.
