Job description

The Manager/Senior Manager, Finance RTR oversees financial closing and reporting processes across APAC.

This role ensures that all accounting related tasks are professionally executed with accuracy and compliance with international standards whilst fostering a collaborative and innovative culture across their team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the R2R process including journal entries, intercompany transactions, and fixed asset accounting.
  • Oversees the execution of month and year-end procedures and oversees and coordinates the compilation of accounting packs for distribution to the relevant leaders in the business.
  • Assigns, monitors and coordinates work assignments and activities.
  • Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
  • Oversee financial reporting, including group consolidation and variance analysis.
  • Coordinate with auditors for statutory audits and group reporting.
  • Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, and Treasury teams for budgeting and compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement and automation in R2R processes.
  • Leads and manages an accounting team driving a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on achieving results.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, CA/CPA, CIMA or related field.
Required experience
  • 8+ years experience in R2R or financial reporting, preferably in a multinational company.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, local GAAPs, and financial consolidation.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience in DC industry preferred
  • Prior experience working with stakeholders in other APAC countries (ie. Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand)
Other Requirements
  • Must have flexible work schedule to accommodate across global business hours
  • Travel will be required, up to 10%
