A leading facilities management company in Singapore is seeking a Facilities Manager / Senior Manager to oversee operations across public and commercial properties. We are seeking an accomplished Facilities Manager / Senior Manager to lead and elevate the facilities management function across a diverse portfolio of public and commercial properties. This role provides strategic and operational leadership to a team of Facilities Engineers, ensuring assets are maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and service excellence.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency, optimising costs, and delivering continuous improvements, while balancing stakeholder expectations and regulatory compliance in a complex operating environment.
Provide strong leadership and mentorship to a team of Facilities Engineers, fostering a high-performance and service-oriented culture.
Oversee end-to-end facilities operations, ensuring the effective maintenance and optimal functioning of buildings, common areas, and shared infrastructure.
Ensure full compliance with statutory, safety, and regulatory requirements, as well as agreed service level standards.
Plan, manage, and review preventive and cyclical maintenance programmes covering building systems, mechanical and electrical installations, lifts, rooftops, pump rooms, lighting, and waste management facilities.
Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders and occupants, managing feedback, enquiries, and service requests with professionalism and timely resolution.
Manage and evaluate the performance of external contractors and service providers, ensuring contractual obligations, quality standards, and cost efficiency are met.
Review and verify completed works, oversee budget controls, and manage payment processes with a strong focus on governance and accountability.
Lead and coordinate facilities improvement, upgrading, and enhancement projects, including infrastructure upgrades, accessibility improvements, and shared amenities.
Support internal governance structures, committees, or working groups by providing operational insights and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct regular inspections, prepare operational and performance reports, and support audit and compliance activities.
Undertake additional responsibilities and strategic projects as assigned by senior management.
Demonstrated experience in facilities, property, or estate management within large-scale, complex, or regulated environments.
Proven people leadership capabilities with the ability to engage, motivate, and develop teams.
Strong technical knowledge of building systems, facilities maintenance, and vendor management.
Solid understanding of regulatory compliance, safety standards, and governance requirements.
Excellent stakeholder management, organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
