Job description

What the role is:

As Manager/Digitalisation Office, you will be part of the MND team to drive and oversee the development of data and digitalisation initiatives in MND and the MND Family Statutory Boards.

What you will be working on:

Review and implement the MND Family Data and Digitalisation Plan to drive and coordinate MND Family data, digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) efforts;

• Identify and direct resources to support catalytic data and digitalisation projects and initiatives in the MND Family;
• Drive projects and initiatives for MND Family to meet Government digitalisation and data-related targets and indices;
• Perform secretariat roles for key digitalisation meetings involving internal and external stakeholders.

• Drive and implement MND’s data strategy and roadmap, working with internal stakeholders (e.g. policy divisions);
• Review and ensure ministry’s compliance with the Whole of Government’s digitalisation and data policies;
• Drive work process transformation and automation/digitalisation, working with internal stakeholders by taking on a project manager role;
• Drive data and digitalisation culture and capabilities within the organisation by identifying and promoting digital tools and capabilities.

What we are looking for:

• Qualifications preferably in Information Technology, Engineering, or Data Analytics/Data Science. Preferably with at least 2 years of experience working with data, but fresh graduates with keen interest in the area of Data and Digitalisation are also welcome to apply.
• Demonstrates strong initiative to drive projects and initiatives;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage and bring together officers of various levels and stakeholders to work towards a common goal;
• Excellent written, organisational and communication skills;
• Proficient in Service Journey Mapping, Behavioural Insights and/or Business Process Review will be an advantage;
• Work effectively independently as well as in teams.
