Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on mechanical equipment such as Pumps/filtration/Heat exchanger etc.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures, identifying root causes to prevent recurrence.
• Execute repairs, overhauls, and installations of machinery components with precision.
• Perform welding, pipefitting, and fabrication tasks.
• Continuous improvement of Preventive Maintenance schedules and SOP.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on equipment upgrades, modifications, and capital projects.
• Train junior technicians on best practices, safety procedures, and specific equipment repair techniques.
• Ensure all equipment and maintenance activities comply with local and federal regulations.
• Diploma in Mechanical with 5 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience in chemical processing, electroplating, or wastewater treatment environment.
• Expertise in pump and piping system maintenance, corrosion‑resistant materials/sealing mechanisms.
• Able to interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Able to handle heavy load (40kg), and work at height, and standby 24/7
