A leading maintenance service provider in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day operations of the Maintenance team. Job description

Responsibilities

Management & Coordination

• Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the Maintenance team.
• Conduct training for new Maintenance and Operations staff.
• Review and update maintenance processes in consultation with Senior Technician/Supervisor/Engineer.
• Ensure compliance with all processes, procedures, and workplace safety rules.
• Support and coordinate with Senior Technician/Supervisor/Engineer and contractors.
• Assist in generating regular reports and maintenance data.

Maintenance & Servicing

• Perform monthly and weekly preventive maintenance on cremation and filtration equipment in NMC, MCC, CCK, and other assigned crematoria.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and re-commission defective equipment.
• Maintain accurate plant history records for all maintenance events.
• Conduct sensor verification for cremators every 3 months.
• Perform server backups for the .gdb file every 2 weeks.
• Prepare maintenance workflow documentation and service checklists.

Overhaul Activities

• Contribute to overhaul plan development and resource allocation.
• Perform overhaul works, including refractory and M&E replacements.
• Maintain accurate overhaul records and prepare overhaul reports.
• Coordinate with contractors and ensure work quality and compliance.

Safety & Compliance

• Conduct safety checks before work commencement.
• Prepare LOTO and Permit to Work forms (including for confined space, flammable gas, and high-voltage work).
• Review Risk Assessments with the maintenance team.

Inventory & Procurement

• Track and manage plant stock for maintenance and overhaul activities.
• Conduct annual stocktaking and prepare quotation specifications for spare parts and services.

Other Duties

• Provide relief duty for Operator and Shift Leader in cremation processes.
• Support safe and efficient plant operation according to guidelines.
• Perform cleaning of cremators and general areas.
• Service mechanical and electrical tools.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by Manager/Engineer.

• Able to work in confined spaces and non-aircon environments.
• Able to work shifts
• Experience in maintenance of plant equipment.
