Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced inventory manager to oversee inventory management and ensure operational efficiency. The role involves conducting price comparisons, managing inventory, and performing data entry for maintenance tasks. Qualifications

• Conduct price comparisons for maintenance requisitions.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Interact with maintenance requisitioner by conducting price comparisons, looking for the best possible price
• Inventory management and control, to include receiving ordered goods, cycle counts, and placing in inventory
• Data entry of maintenance work order and daily time sheets
• Create emergency work orders
• Keep track of maintenance inventory
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
• Follow all Food Safety Requirements and GMPs as applicable to this position.
• Complete all other tasks or assignments as directed by supervisor/manager.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2-5 years of qualified inventory management experience
• Basic computer / typing skills
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Understanding of maintenance and inventory principles
• Ability to type 30-40 wpm
• Understanding of Microsoft word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Understanding of JDE parts inventory management system
• Create, write and generate ROP & ROQ Reqs

Internal & External Relations

• Internal: Packaging Machine Operators, Production Leads and Supervisors, Quality Assurance, & Maintenance.
• External: Auditors

Education and Certification

• HS Diploma or Demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed in a cold environment with an average temperature of 34 degrees F. Concentrated chlorine and concealed ammonia is present. Work surfaces and floors are wet. Employees are required to wear approved shoes and protective equipment. Constant standing on a concrete floor, reaching, and repetitive hand movements will be required. Ability to use hands and fingers to handle tools. Ability to climb ladders and stairs and work at heights. Ability to lift up to an excess of 50 lbs. Ability to work in closed proximities. Ability to bend at the waist, crouching, bending, stooping while working close to the ground.

Work Hour Requirement

• Ability to work overtime including weekends as required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
