A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Site Engineer to coordinate project activities on site. Ideal candidates will have a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, along with 1 to 3 years of relevant M&E or HVAC project coordination experience. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with main contractors and consultants. Mechanical Site Engineer
Office: Woodlands
Working location: Micron (Attap Valley)
Salary range: SGD 3,000 - 4,000 (depending on experience)
Working days & hours: 5.5 days
Mon to Fri: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM | Sat: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
(May be required to work beyond these stated hours based on project or operational requirements.)
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
1–3 years of relevant experience in M&E / HVAC project coordination.
Company's principal activity is plumbing, heating (non-electric) and air-conditioning with general contractors
Coordination & Communication
Liaise with Main Contractor, consultants, and other subcontractors to resolve site issues and ensure work sequences are aligned.
Attend coordination meetings and prepare minutes of meetings when required.
Follow up on outstanding site matters and ensure timely completion of works.
Technical & Documentation
Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure technical compliance and highlight discrepancies.
Prepare and submit technical queries (TQs), method statements, and material submissions.
Mark up drawings for As-Built Drawing updates and coordinate with draftsperson for revisions.
Support preparation of shop drawings, coordination drawings, and update red-line drawings during installation.
Progress & Reporting
Prepare weekly progress reports, covering work done in the previous week, current progress, and forecast for the next week.
Monitor work schedules and coordinate with the site team to ensure targets are met.
Assist in preparing work programs, manpower schedules, and progress tracking charts.
Quality & Safety
Conduct inspections to ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and QA/QC procedures.
Participate in Safety Assessments and ensure safe work practices at site.
Report and follow up on any non-conformances or safety observations.
Project Support
Assist the Project Manager in tracking materials, deliveries, and installation sequences.
Coordinate testing and commissioning activities and documentation.
Support handover documentation, including O&M manuals and final as-built submissions.
