Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is looking for a qualified candidate to manage and coordinate Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) works on-site. Responsibilities include liaising with clients and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with specifications, and supervising project progress. Qualified candidates should have a degree in Mechanical/Engineering, be a registered Professional Engineer in Singapore, and have at least 5 years of relevant experience. AutoCAD knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of working experience in Building & Construction.
• Able to liaise effectively with sub-contractors, clients & consultants.
• Candidate must handle drawings and manage projects efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E matters with all stakeholders to ensure project compliance.
• Maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Manage and monitor subcontractors' work and progress.

Skills

Local experience in construction industry

Well versed in Building and M&E Installation

Ability to manage subcontractors

Knowledge in AutoCAD

Education

Professional Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Engineering

Registered Professional Engineer with PEB Singapore

Job description

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinates with consultants, sub-contractor, clients and other on all M&E matters, ensuring compliance in requirements, specifications and ensure project is on schedule
• Maintaining and developing good working relationships with internal and external customers
• Attend Coordinating Meeting
• Arrangement of work accordingly to work programs
• To Manage & Monitor subcontractors works and progress and feedback to Project Manager
• To supervise & coordinator M&E work on site

Qualifications

• Local experience in construction industry is preferrable
• Well versed in Building and M&E Installation
• Able to plan and handle drawings details
• Able to liaise with sub-contractors, clients & consultants
• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma or a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Engineering from a recognized institution
• Must be Registered Professional Engineer with PEB Singapore/ Specialized Professional Engineer
• At least 5 years of working experience in Building & Construction
• Knowledge in Auto Cad is preferred
