Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all M&E works to ensure timely completion, quality standards, and adherence to budget.
- Supervise and ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes of practice, and relevant standards during M&E works.
- Prepare and submit material and sample submissions for approval.
- Review and check construction drawings for discrepancies, defects, or inconsistencies.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams for seamless coordination on M&E design and construction issues.
- Assist with the preparation of E&M niche drawings and temporary design drawings.
- Coordinate with the architect and structural consultant for design coordination.
- Support the Design Manager and Project Director with urgent M&E-related works.
- Attend project meetings, assist in conducting coordination meetings, and document meeting minutes.
- Maintain proper document control and filing for all M&E-related documents.
- Resolve M&E-related technical issues and discrepancies on site.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors.
Job Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a preference for experience in civil projects.
- Experience in airport projects is an added advantage.
- Strong coordination and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage field staff and technical tasks.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Results-oriented team player with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Salary will be commensurate with experience
