Summary
The Logistics Executive plans and manages the logistical activities of the terminal based on the storage customers' requirements and terminal operational facilities. He/she works in tandem with Operations to plan customers cargo nominations efficiently and generates periodic reports and provides updates on stock inventories to customers and authorities.
The Logistics Executive works independently and possesses strong planning, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Responsibilities
Perform customer service tasks
- Plan logistical activities effectively and efficiently based on understanding customers' nominations and terminal's operational capabilities through planning vessels turnaround, other product movement efficiently, and managing the flows materials in/out of the terminal
- Possess the abilities to develop & implement schedules for vessel operations, and able to work under pressure in fast paced environment
- Attend to queries and complaints with regards to the logistical activities and provide solutions within time limits, follow up to ensure resolution
- Prepare Shipping document for vessels operations
- Perform vessel vetting and sanction checks
- Schedule and coordinate customer meetings and terminal visit/audits
- Provide weekly/monthly stock inventory report to customer(s)
- Perform Weekly/Monthly Customs reporting
- Generate/Post/Distribute weekly/monthly invoice(s)
Perform business administration tasks
- Generate, analyse and maintain reports such as KPI and inventory reports for customers and customs authorities to ensure compliance
- Follow up on Accounts Receivable matters
- Provide technical support on various technical issues when needed
Perform cargo and/or material handling and delivery tasks
- Coordinate closely with external (customers, surveyors, shipping agents) and internal stakeholders so that logistical activities are executed smoothly
- Perform Customs Clearance Permit for all import and export shipments, including preparation, document submissions, declaration, filing, and facilitation of customs audit

Job Profile
- Possesses at least a Business or Logistics related Diploma
- Have at least 2 years of logistics/ planning / customer service experience ideally in a Terminal Storage Logistics / Oil & Gas industry
- Have excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions
- Able to multi-task and work independently
- Possesses good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Is detailed-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Please note
- This position is based in Jurong Island
- The Logistics Executive is required to be on a 2-week planning rotation, with standby 24x7. You shall be compensated with a standby allowance for this.
- Official Working hours: Mon - Fri, 0830 - 1700 hours
