Overview

My client a leading commodity manufacturer is looking for a logistics coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the entire logistics process, including global shipments to Australia, importation, warehouse management, and distribution to clients. Your role will involve close collaboration with logistics colleagues in Singapore, ensuring seamless operations from origin to delivery.

Reports To

You will report to the Managing Director APAC, and the Logistics Director, based in Europe.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting and CRM
  • Maintain a clear overview of all incoming and outgoing cargo.
  • Collaborate closely with logistics, commerce, and Commercial Assistants to manage execution.
Invoice Monitoring and Payment Setup
  • Monitor and verify all incoming invoices from suppliers, agents, shipping, transport companies, and warehouses.
  • Ensure accurate processing and setup for payments.
Warehouse Management
  • Monitor stock overview and compare with physical stock in each warehouse.
  • Conduct monthly stock reconciliation.
  • Share inbound and outbound reports with team members and warehouse/trucking companies.
  • Send delivery instructions to warehouses and trucking companies.
Customer Service and Communication
  • Build strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Communicate effectively to resolve issues and respond to urgent information requests.
  • Use the phone for timely communication when necessary.
Performance Indicators
  • Accurate management of stock levels.
  • Proactive customer service management.
  • Strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
