Job description

Leadership & Strategy

• Develop the overall vision, voice, and standards for the Live Host function.
• Define hosting guidelines, best practices, and training frameworks to ensure consistent, high-quality live delivery.
• Collaborate with Content, Production, Marketing, and Creative teams to align hosts with broader programming goals.
• Analyze audience data and live metrics to influence content strategy and optimize host performance.

Team Management & Talent Development

• Onboard, manage, and mentor a team of live hosts and on-air personalities.
• Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and skill-training workshops.
• Identify and nurture top talent to strengthen the host pipeline.
• Ensure hosts are well-prepped with scripts, cues, and show flows for seamless live execution.

Live Show Execution

• Oversee all live hosting activities across platforms (e.g., social, app, streaming, broadcast).
• Work closely with media production team to ensure hosts deliver engaging, accurate, and brand-aligned content.
• Monitor live sessions in real-time, providing rapid support, coaching, and problem-solving.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, energy, pacing, and audience engagement.

Content & Performance Optimization

• Review live recordings, provide feedback, and refine delivery techniques.
• Partner with Analytics teams to monitor KPIs such as engagement, view duration, conversion rate, and audience sentiment.
• Test new hosting formats, segments, and engagement features to improve performance.
• Drive innovation in live content—interactive formats, multi-host shows, themed events, etc.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Align with Marketing for announcements, promotions, and host-driven campaigns.
• Partner with production team to develop scripts, run-of-show documents, and storyline frameworks.
