Role Overview
You are the anchor of daily operations and team culture.
You ensure that your stores runs smoothly - financially, operationally, and emotionally - and that every customer interaction reflects the lifestyle experience.
You lead the managers, supervisors and ambassadors, maintain operational standards, and implement area-level initiatives with consistency, energy, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & People
- Lead and mentor Managers, Supervisors, and Ambassadors to deliver strong sales, service, and teamwork.
- Set the tone for store culture - encourage open communication, constructive feedback, and team morale.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs, and develop team members.
- Enforce store rules and disciplinary actions fairly and consistently.
Sales & Business
- Drive monthly and quarterly sales targets in collaboration with the Cluster Manager.
- Analyse sales data and customer trends; propose promotions or merchandising changes to improve performance.
- Ensure effective execution of store-level promotions and campaigns.
- Manage store-level vendor relationships (e.g., supplies, maintenance, décor).
Customer Experience
- Uphold the highest service standards across all shifts.
- Handle escalated customer issues professionally and ensure timely resolutions.
- Monitor Mystery Shopper and Customer Feedback scores; lead improvements when needed.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure daily operations - opening, closing and inventory - are executed flawlessly.
- Oversee stock accuracy, replenishment , and return management .
- Maintain store presentation, cleanliness, and merchandising standards.
- Ensure all SOPs and policies are implemented and audited regularly.
Administrative & Strategic
- Oversee vendor sourcing at the store level and support area-level procurement initiatives.
- Execute store setups, teardowns , and event coordination when required.
- Assist Area Manager with reporting, budget tracking , and policy alignment .
- Lead by example - be present, approachable, and solutions-oriented.
Key KPIs
- Sales Performance : Monthly sales achievement vs. target
- Team Retention & Engagement : Attendance, turnover, peer feedback
- Customer Experience : Mystery Shopper and Complaint Resolution scoresOperational Accuracy : Stock accuracy %, zero discrepancies, SOP compliance
- Store Presentation : VM audit and cleanliness score
Ideal Profile
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in retail management (lifestyle, fashion, or specialty preferred).
- Strong leadership presence - able to coach, motivate, and hold others accountable.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on and operationally meticulous - leads by doing, not just directing.
- Comfortable working weekends and retail hours.
- Passion for lifestyle brands, team culture, and creating great customer experiences.
