Our Client

Our client is a Market leader in the Shipping Industry in Singapore and they are now seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join their team in Singapore.

The Role

• Advise on contracts such as charter-parties, insurance policies, ship-building, repair and conversion contracts
• Mediate and advise on disputes arising from casualties, groundings, and accidents at sea including any consequent ship arrests, marine pollution, and salvage issues
• Draft, design, and interpret international legislation that governs the different aspects of the maritime industry. This includes pollution from vessels and safety aboard ships

To Qualify

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Law or equivalent
• At least 6 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Managers specializing in Law/Legal Services or equivalent.
• Full-Time position(s) available.
