Responsibilities
Legal & Documentation Support
- Assist with basic contract preparation, including reviewing straightforward agreements and responding to simple legal queries from internal teams.
- Support due‑diligence checks by verifying documents such as deal summaries, approvals, and authorisation letters.
- Handle routine document management, data entry and maintain legal trackers, databases, and filing systems.
Operational & Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support for legal, compliance, and occasional corporate secretarial tasks (light‑touch in nature).
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders on routine documentation follow‑ups, clarifications, or information requests.
- Serve as backup to the Legal Manager when required, ensuring business continuity.
Additional Contributions
- Assist with regional matters tied to the company’s growth, including brand‑related work (e.g., trademark and licensing support) when needed.
- Support improvement of legal workflows, templates, checklists, and processes.
Requirements
- Diploma in Law or a foreign law degree; suitable for fresh graduates or those with up to three years of legal/compliance experience.
- Open to paralegals, legal executives, or corporate secretarial professionals seeking broader exposure.
- Basic understanding of contract terms and legal documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, with solid organisational and time‑management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable handling administrative and document‑intensive work.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
