Job description
Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Residential College 4, NUS UTown)

The appointee will assume the role of Lecturer / Senior Lecturer and teach inter‑disciplinary courses in the College, in the areas of innovation & entrepreneurship, digital literacy/AI, and/or systems thinking. Each inter‑disciplinary course may focus on a specific theme, with the aim of helping students develop broad‑based and critical perspectives on innovation and entrepreneurship, digital literacy, and/or real‑world complex issues. Teaching in the College is conducted through small group seminars for first and second‑year undergraduates from diverse backgrounds, using impactful and student‑centred pedagogies. The appointee is also expected to contribute to the College's academic and student life programming, including advising and mentoring students in various living and learning activities.

Qualifications
  • a PhD; at least 1 year of relevant teaching experience will be an advantage.
  • Enthusiasm and aptitude for inter‑disciplinary teaching
  • Keen interest in mentoring/interacting with students
  • Awareness of impactful, student‑centred pedagogical approaches with an interest to engage in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL).
  • Motivation in working independently and as part of a team.
