Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory tests and specialised investigations of patient samples.
  • Prepare various types of media and process specimens.
  • Carry out ongoing quality control checks for test accuracy.
  • Lead the bacterial genomics section and contribute to public health.
  • Mentor and coach junior staff.
  • Assist in establishing and updating departmental policies.

Education

PhD in biomedical science or related field
Masters in a relevant discipline with minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
