Position: Kindergarten Principal

  • Basic $4,000 - $7,000
  • Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Leadership (ADECL) / Degree in Early Childhood Care & Education (DECCE) or equivilent

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the strategic direction and overall management of the Kindergarten
  • Ensure daily operations are in order and in compliance with licensing and other regulatory requirements, where applicable
  • Oversee curriculum planning and professional matters
  • Mentor teachers in all areas to facilitate collaborative approaches to learning, teaching and evaluation so as to improve overall performance standards and competencies
  • Manage relationships with parents to ensure concerns, issues and feedback are addressed on a timely basis appropriately
  • Management and optimisation centre resources Implementation of specific centre programs, initiatives and events
  • Handle centre administrative matters and enrolment
  • \>Determine requirements that must be met regarding licensing, health and safety regulations from the start and local regulatory agencies
  • Prepare budget and control budget expenditures
