Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated Junior Systems Engineer (Integration) / IVVQ Engineer to join our dynamic team at Akkodis. As a fresh graduate, you will be responsible for planning, participating in, and supporting the integration, verification, and validation (IVV) activities for our systems. You will work alongside senior engineers to ensure systems meet all technical requirements and quality standards, contributing to the successful execution of integration and testing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning and Execution of IVV Activities: Assist in planning and executing verification and validation (IVV) tasks for large systems.
  • Test Strategy and Practices: Contribute to determining the appropriate test strategy and practices to be applied.
  • System Test Planning and Reporting: Support in the creation and execution of system test plans, and report results effectively.
  • Collaboration with Project Engineers: Work closely with project engineers to ensure testing schedules are met and risks are identified.
  • Resource Management: Assist in managing test resources, including staff, software, and hardware.
  • Defect/Engineering Change Management: Track defects and engineering changes, ensuring they are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Global Team Coordination: Work in collaboration with a global team to ensure successful project execution.
  • Bid Activities: Participate in bid activities, providing input on scope and costing where needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Strong interest in Verification/Validation and Systems Integration with the willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux/Android systems.
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical documentation.
  • Basic Project Management and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset and a keen interest in finding creative solutions to challenges.
  • Basic Knowledge of Test Practices: Understanding of common testing methods such as functional tests, user scenario tests, and automation.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Comfortable working with IT software and hardware, identifying issues and resolving them effectively.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Experience or Familiarity with Tools: Exposure to configuration management and deployment tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Bash, Python).
  • Software Development Methods: Understanding of basic software development methodologies and systems integration concepts.
  • Exposure to User Interfaces, Networking, and Communication Systems: Hands-on experience or coursework related to wireless and communication systems.
  • Interest in Bids and Work Package Management: An eagerness to contribute to bids and manage work packages effectively.
