Job description

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gather business requirements from business users
• Develop front end mock-ups and document functional requirements to validate business requirements with stakeholders
• Collect, cleanse, process and analyse data (company and market data)
• Building models to solve real-world problems in the area of
  • Data science not limited to anomaly detection, deep learning, machine-learning, time-series.
  • Generative AI projects
  • Operational research not limited to network optimization, shortest path for maritime road
• Collaborate with Data Scientist and Solution Delivery teams to conceptualize end to end IT solution, and ensure projects are executed successfully
• Perform testing and facilitate user acceptance testing with business
• Proactive regular communications and status update to project leads and business stakeholders

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis roles, preferably in a large organization, where you have successfully bridged the gap between IT and business teams.
• Proficiency in data science programming languages including Python and SQL.
  • Good experience in machine learning concepts and libraries, and front-end development. Familiarity with data visualization tools will be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to identify and address complex business challenges through technology solutions.
  • Good communication skills to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Good interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with IT and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing changing priorities and expectations.
  • Knowledge/experience in the Shipping/logistics industry will be advantageous
