Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Civil Engineer to support our engineering and construction projects. The successful candidate will assist in planning, designing, and overseeing civil works, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of civil engineering projects (e.g., roads, buildings, drainage, utilities).
• Prepare, review, and update engineering drawings, site layouts, and technical reports.
• Conduct site inspections, surveys, and take measurements to support construction progress monitoring.
• Support the preparation of method statements, material take-offs, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Report to senior engineers or project managers on progress, challenges, and proposed solutions.
• Maintain documentation and records related to construction activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of relevant working experience (internship experience is a plus).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and engineering software (e.g., STAAD, Civil 3D) is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction practices.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced project environment.
• Able to work on-site when required.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Familiarity with local construction codes and regulations.
• Basic knowledge of project management tools or software.
• Experience in LTA, BCA, or PUB projects (for Singapore-based roles).
