Job summary

A leading academic publishing company is looking for a motivated Journal Publishing Editor (JPE) to join their team in Singapore. In this full-time role, you will support the launch of new academic journals and manage editorial workflows, ensuring smooth publishing operations. The ideal candidate will have a university degree, and 1–3 years of experience in STEM publishing, strong project management skills, and excellent communication abilities. The Role

We are seeking an ambitious and motivated individual to join our team as a Journal Publishing Editor (JPE). This full‑time role can be based in Singapore or performed remotely. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with a passion for academic publishing and a drive to contribute to the strategic growth of our journals portfolio.

As a JPE, you will play a key role in developing new journals, enhancing existing titles, and supporting the overall publishing strategy. You will work closely with the HQ Team to ensure the continued success and relevance of our journals in a competitive global market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and launch of new academic journals.
  • Manage the editorial workflow, including peer review and production.
  • Work with authors, reviewers, and editors to ensure smooth publishing operations.
  • Help identify topics for special issues and invite guest editors.
  • Monitor journal performance and suggest improvements.
  • Build strong relationships with researchers and editorial board members.
  • Stay updated on publishing trends and contribute ideas for growth.
Requirements
