A culinary establishment in Singapore seeks an experienced Japanese Culinary Cook. In this role, you will craft and present a menu featuring sushi, sashimi, and tempura, while collaborating with the Head Chef and mentoring team members. Craft and present our core menu of sushi, sashimi, tempura, and donburi with attention to detail.
Collaborate closely with the Head Chef to ensure seamless and efficient service.
Mentor and support fellow team members, fostering a culture of consistency and quality.
Help manage kitchen inventory and supplies to support smooth daily operations.
Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety at all times.
Take the lead in maintaining excellence during specific service shifts.
You have at least 2 years of professional kitchen experience; familiarity with Japanese cuisine is a significant advantage.
You understand the fundamentals of Japanese techniques and the philosophy of balanced flavors.
You remain composed, reliable, and team-focused, especially during peak service.
You take genuine pride in your work, with an eye for the smallest details.
You are adaptable to a schedule based on a 5- or 6-day workweek.
