Job summary

A leading cybersecurity firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support HR initiatives across the APJ region, particularly for Japan. This role will handle day-to-day HR queries, ensure compliance with Japanese employment laws, and assist with HR programs across multiple markets. The ideal candidate has 8-10 years of broad HR experience, strong knowledge of Japanese HR practices, and the ability to work effectively across different cultures. This is a contract position with no remote work options.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of broad HR Generalist experience ideally within a multinational or IT technology industry.
• Prior experience supporting HR operations for Japan is strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of Japanese employment law and HR practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main HR contact for employees in Japan handling day-to-day HR queries.
• Provide HR operational support across multiple APJ markets collaborating closely.
• Partner with global Centers of Excellence to execute key initiatives.
