Job summary

A technology company in Singapore is seeking an IT support specialist to provide helpdesk assistance for various operating systems and software, troubleshoot IT issues, and support networking and server-side tasks. The ideal candidate should have over a year of experience and be proficient in Microsoft products. Strong English communication skills and a pragmatic, service-oriented mindset are essential. This role includes coordinating IT projects, logging service requests, and preparing documentation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide helpdesk support for operating systems and software.
  • Troubleshoot IT hardware and applications, escalate as needed.
  • Support networking, server-side, and video conference setups.
  • Perform daily preventive checks for office IT facilities.
  • Log IT service requests and incidents in the ticketing system.
  • Coordinate IT related projects and assist with system deployments.
  • Prepare operational reports and documentation for management.

Job Description
  • Provide helpdesk support for operating system (eg. windows 11, Mac OS), software (eg. MS Office, etc.) and mobile device setup, basic printer setup and support.
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving for both IT hardware and applications. Escalate issue and involve second-tier support whenever required in order to resolve issues.
  • Provide first-tier networking and server-side support, video conference equipment health check and setup, basic telephone system support and assist IT related procurement.
  • Perform daily preventive checking for office IT facilities.
  • Receive and log IT service requests and incidents into ticketing system, case monitoring to ensure supporting team close the cases.
  • Coordinate internal IT related project, vendor management and assist system deployments / upgrades with the appropriate internal teams and suppliers.
  • Prepare generate operation report and documentation to ensure appropriate reporting and metrics are being delivered to Manager.
Requirements

  • Pragmatic and modest, service-minded
  • Experience in supporting Microsoft product like Office365, Outlook, OneDrive, etc.
  • Good level of knowledge on LAN, WAN and Desktop OS/application support.
