- Define and enforce data classification, access rights, and usage policies.
- Ensure sensitive data is properly backed up, access‑controlled, and auditable.
- Act as the custodian of company data, ensuring availability in accordance with management instructions.
3. Server & System Access Control
- Administer servers, cloud platforms, and internal systems.
- Design and manage role‑based access control (RBAC), account provisioning and de‑provisioning, privileged access management.
- Regularly review and report access rights to management.
4. IT Access & User Management
- Manage employee IT access across systems, tools, and platforms.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes from an IT perspective.
- Ensure timely setup of hardware, software, and system permissions.
5. Daily IT Operations & User Support
- Provide ongoing IT support for end‑user issues, hardware and software troubleshooting, and network and system availability.
- Manage IT vendors, licenses, and service providers.
6. Fixed Asset & IT Asset Management
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT fixed assets (servers, laptops, devices, licenses).
- Track assignment, lifecycle, maintenance, and disposal of assets.
7. Cross‑Functional Communication
- Act as a bridge between R&D and management: translate technical concepts into operational and management‑friendly terms.
- Understand R&D needs while enforcing company‑wide controls.
- Ensure IT processes support innovation without compromising security or governance.
8. Governance, Compliance & Management Alignment
- Establish IT policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
- Execute tasks based on company priorities and management instructions.
- Ensure IT governance supports business needs rather than creating bottlenecks.
- Perform any ad‑hoc duties assigned by the company as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong understanding of software development concepts (code repositories, APIs, environments); server and cloud infrastructure; access control and security best practices.
- Ability to read, understand, and discuss code with R&D teams (hands‑on coding not mandatory but strongly preferred). Experience setting up IT governance, documentation, and access management frameworks.
- 5–8+ years in IT, systems, or technology management roles.
- Prior experience supporting R&D or technology‑driven teams is highly preferred.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality awareness.

- Strong communication skills—able to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Clear understanding that IT is a support and governance function, aligned with business and management decisions.
- Comfortable operating with authority while remaining collaborative.
