Overview

My client is a Shipping MNC with global presence, they are currently hiring for an IT Operations Executive to join their Tech team and be responsible for daily IT operations and technical support.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver effective technical solutions to resolve user issues, reduce recurrence, and enhance productivity.
  • Manage IT assets such as laptops, mobile devices, and audio/visual equipment, ensuring proper hardware upkeep, patching, and compliance.
  • Take proactive measures to prevent both planned and unplanned outages, minimizing service interruptions.
  • Support a modern, reliable IT environment by identifying outdated technologies and coordinating timely upgrades or replacements.
  • Provide AV and IT support for departmental events.
  • Promote the company’s "cloud-first" approach by improving the adoption and use of Google Workspace (GWS) and related tools.
  • Provide IT support to internal departments, including sourcing quotes, preparing onboarding materials, and setting up software and hardware.
  • Work closely with Groupware, Infrastructure, Security, and other teams to test, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • 1–2 years of experience in IT operations or technical support.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical skills for daily issue resolution.
  • Ability to collect and analyze information effectively.
  • Hands-on knowledge of various software, hardware, and applications.
  • Proactive, solution-driven mindset with the ability to see projects through to completion.
  • Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and record analysis.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach to assisting colleagues and departments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
