Responsibilities
1. On-Site Technical Support
- Provide on-site support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Set up and configure new equipment and systems at client locations.
2. Infrastructure Deployment & Maintenance
- Install, configure, and test IT infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patch management.
- Conduct site surveys to assess technical requirements for new deployments.
3. User Support & Training
- Assist end-users with technical issues and provide basic training on systems and tools.
- Maintain user access, permissions, and profiles via Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of service requests, issue resolutions, and maintenance logs.
- Generate service reports, site visit records, and equipment tracking logs.
5. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with internal IT team, vendors, and clients for smooth project delivery.
- Provide timely updates and escalate complex issues when necessary.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in field support or IT infrastructure roles.
- Proficiency in Windows/Mac OS, networking concepts, and IT troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and network tools.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and ticketing systems.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently, travel to client sites, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license or own transport is a plus.
