Job Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Support
- Maintain and troubleshoot hardware (PCs, printers, barcode scanners, etc.)
- Support network infrastructure: LAN/WAN, switches, routers, Wi‑Fi
- Ensure servers and data storage are running smoothly (file servers, domain controllers)
System Administration
- Manage user accounts, email, Active Directory, file permissions
- Monitor IT security (antivirus, firewalls, data protection policies)
- Perform regular backups and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place
Manufacturing/Production System Support
- Provide technical support for MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), ERP, or factory‑specific systems
- Troubleshoot machine‑PC communication issues (e.g., PLCs, IoT devices)
- Ensure system uptime to minimize production downtime
Software & Application Support
- Install, configure, and maintain standard and custom software
- Provide technical support to end‑users
- Liaise with software vendors for updates, bugs, or new implementations
IT Policies and Compliance
- Implement and enforce IT policies, data protection, and access control
- Support ISO/IEC 27001 or other relevant compliance needs if applicable
User Support & Training
- Act as the first point of contact for IT‑related issues
- Provide training or guidance to staff on using systems or software
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain IT asset inventory
- Prepare incident reports, maintenance logs, and update manuals
- Support audits and provide technical documentation
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support, networking, or systems administration
- May require after‑hours or weekend support during downtime or system issues
