A technology consulting firm in Singapore is seeking an IT Engineer to lead AI process design and implementation. The role requires collaboration with sales for effective workflow optimization and includes responsibilities such as developing Azure Functions and ensuring data governance. Reporting directly to the CEO, the IT Engineer is a technically skilled and business-savvy professional who will lead the design, integration, and implementation of AI-powered processes. This includes, but is not limited to, pricing recommendations that combine Dataverse with Enterprise ChatGPT. This role bridges data engineering, automation, and AI interaction to empower Sales with real-time, data-driven pricing, quotation, and market intelligence insights.

Matrix Reporting: CEO / Sales Enablement / Business Process Owner
Sales Team: Collaborate on refining workflows (including, but not limited to, quotations), aligning pricing logic with frontline usability, and enabling tool adoption through intuitive UI/UX, UAT testing, and user adoption.
Business Process Owner: Partner in defining data governance, test thresholds, business driver thresholds, and integration checkpoints to ensure alignment with commercial policy and operational execution.
Integration & Automation
Design and implement end-to-end processes involving Dataverse, Enterprise ChatGPT, PowerApps, Web Chat Interface, and Tool definition.
Develop secure and stable Azure Functions or APIs to expose data from Dataverse.
Build tooling interfaces for ChatGPT to retrieve historical transactions (Dataverse) and market data (Web).
AI & Prompt Engineering
Configure and maintain ChatGPT custom tools (e.g., get_market_price, query_dataverse).
Optimize prompt logic to eliminate ChatGPT hallucinations and return accurate, context-aware pricing recommendations.
Implement fallback logic for incomplete data scenarios.
Data & Logic
Define and maintain business logic for price calculation (e.g., weighted averages, tiered pricing).
Collaborate with sales and purchasers to ensure logic reflects commercial strategies.
Integrate real-time market scraping tools or APIs to supplement internal pricing gaps.
User Experience & Adoption
Build an intuitive UI for internal and external users to paste RFQs and receive pricing suggestions.
Ensure no disruption to existing workflows (e.g., copy-pasting from email).
Serve as a key contributor to the knowledge community portal, working with other domain experts to provide aids and tools to end-users.
Governance & Monitoring
Implement throttling, logging, and security policies.
Ensure all data access complies with enterprise security standards.

Microsoft Dataverse / Power Platform

JavaScript / React or equivalent frontend frameworks
Python / Node.js (for scraping logic or integration scripting)

Experience with pricing algorithms or dynamic pricing process implementation; or prior experience in similar projects.
Strong hands-on experience with AI prompt engineering and LLM safety controls.

Users adopt the tool without friction or extra training.
Significant improvement in time-to-quote and pricing flow efficiency to prospects.
