A financial services firm based in Singapore is seeking a meticulous IT Disaster Recovery Analyst to support the development and execution of IT disaster recovery plans. The role involves conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with various teams. We are seeking a meticulous and proactive IT Disaster Recovery Analyst to join our risk and resilience team. This role is critical in ensuring the bank’s ability to recover IT systems and services during disruptions, safeguarding operations, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the bank’s IT disaster recovery (DR) framework, policies, and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses (BIA) to identify critical IT systems and dependencies.
Assist in the design and execution of disaster recovery plans, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
Coordinate and facilitate DR testing and simulation exercises, documenting results and recommending improvements.
Monitor and track regulatory requirements related to IT resilience, ensuring compliance with MAS and other relevant authorities.
Collaborate with IT, operations, and business units to embed resilience practices into technology operations.
Prepare reports and dashboards for management, highlighting DR readiness and risk exposure.
Stay updated on emerging risks, technologies, and best practices in IT disaster recovery and operational resilience.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
3–5 years of experience in IT disaster recovery, business continuity, or IT risk management, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
Familiarity with DR standards and frameworks (ISO 22301, ITIL, MAS guidelines).
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in reporting tools, MS Office, and DR/BCM software solutions.
